Welded mesh is one of two main types of wire mesh products. It is produced from a series of longitudinal and transverse high strength steel wires, resistance welded at all intersections. The strength and thickness of the weld are determined by factors such as welding pressure, time and temperature.The manufacturing process can be varied to accommodate various style changes and dimensions. Normally, welded mesh is produced in self color and galvanized or PVC coated after manufacture. Some specifications are produced from galvanized wire and stainless steel. It’s available in rolls, standard sheets and cut-to-size. Welded wire mesh can also be bent or cut into various shapes without causing the wires to come apart.
